The U.S.-Philippines Alliance Fellowship is specifically for Filipino scholars and analysts who wish to conduct an analysis along the following themes: national security, international relations, and international trade and investment in the Indo-Pacific. The fellowship includes a monthly stipend of US$3,000 while in residence in Washington; office space and computer and relevant office resources; and round trip economy airfare to Washington, DC from the Philippines. The Fortune – U.S. Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership connects talented, emerging women leaders from all over the world with members of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Leaders for a three-week-long program.

The program begins with an orientation in Washington, D.C., where mentees meet with senior women leaders in government, business, academia, civil society and the media. International Writing Program Fall Residency is a component of the International Writing Program (IWP) and is the oldest and largest multicultural writing residency in the world. OneBeat is an international music exchange that celebrates musical collaboration and social engagement through innovative people-to-people diplomacy. Musicians (ages 19-35) from around the world come together in the U.S. for four weeks to collaboratively write, produce, and perform original music, and develop ways that music can make a positive impact on our local and global communities. The Sports Visitors Program offers young non-elite athletes and coaches chosen by the U.S. Embassy to visit the United States for a fast-paced two week exchange program. These sports-themed programs offer participants the opportunity to interact with Americans and experience American society, culture, and values firsthand. The activities include sessions on nutrition, strength and conditioning, gender equity in sport, Title IX, sport and disability, and team building.
