Message for U.S. Citizens:  Remote Services in Bacolod on March 19, 2024

The U.S. Embassy’s American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit and representatives from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will visit Bacolod, Negros Occidental, on March 19, 2024, to provide remote services to U.S. citizens.  The services include:

American Citizens Services (ACS)

  • Notarial services
  • Acceptance of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) applications, and
  • Acceptance of U.S. passport applications

VA Manila Regional Office

Business Office Team:

  •   Registration/enrollment with the Outpatient Clinic (OPC)
  •   Scheduling of clinical appointments with OPC
  •   Information and assistance on the Foreign Medical Program
  •   My HealtheVet assistance
  •   VHIC ID application

Nursing Team:

  •   Provide preventive immunizations
  •   Updating vital signs, height and weight record
  •   Assessing patient’s condition and medical needs
  •   Patient education on healthy lifestyle habits

Suicide Prevention Coordinators:

  •   Provide suicide prevention awareness
  •   Veteran Crisis Line information
  •   Distribute gift items from Suicide Prevention Program
  •   Assessment of mental health
  •   Appointment assistance

Patient Advocate:

  •   Resolving concerns about any aspect of the health care experience in the clinic

We will provide a full list of participating agencies, venue location, amount of passport services, and other details in a future message.  On the day of the remote services, customers can begin signing up for services starting at 7:30 a.m.  All services will be provided on a first come, first served basis at each location.  Please arrive and sign up early.  Depending on demand, it is possible not all customers will be served.
