Project Summary: The Project involved the preservation (through digitization) of some 16,000 rare photographs from the American colonial period (1898-1946) that are housed in the American Historical Collection of the Rizal Library. The work included an assessment of the state of the photo collection, and the scanning, archiving and cataloguing of about 5,000 endangered photos. Archival and photo preservation training for Ateneo and Philippine Library and Museum staffers was also conducted.
