Ambassador Kim Shares Thanksgiving Feast with Tuloy Foundation
Manila, November 27, 2019 — In celebration of Thanksgiving, Ambassador Sung Kim shared a meal with the Tuloy Foundation culinary scholars at Enderun Colleges in Taguig City on Tuesday, November 26. The Tuloy Foundation is a non-profit organization for disadvantaged children and youth.
Enderun chef instructors and 24 culinary students from Tuloy Foundation prepared the Thanksgiving meal, which was inspired by original recipes of Filipino-American White House executive chef Cristeta Pasia-Comerford. Served dishes included Thyme Roasted U.S. Turkey with Giblet Gravy, Cranberry Calamansi Relish, Baked Boneless U.S. Ham, Mashed U.S. Potato with Quezo de Bola, Pumpkin Pie, and Pecan Pie.
U.S. food and beverage importers Dane International Commodities Inc. and ESV International Corp. provided the turkey, pecans, and potatoes, while the U.S. Meat Export Federation supplied the ham.
